The filing process doesn't even begin until you have a phone interview. In person interviews are not possible due to Covid Guidelines. You have to go to their online website and request scheduling an interview by phone. THE WEBSITE HAS THEM BOOKED UP UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR. Literally no interview times are available...not even into the year 2023 folks. It is currently August 2022. Guess I can just go screw myself and my medical disability that I am constantly harassed over. What a time to be alive in this country.

Now this too has turn into a joke. One by one any abd all of the safe guards, by that I mean any of the advocates organizations, or agencies designed to protect the common man in this country, they are all but gone. The EEOC is no different. The filing process doesn't really begin till you have a phone interview. (They say covid cause the agency to in person interviews. Well youd that wouldv'e the process faster? WRONG.) You have to call and set it up well, You can't... THE WEBSITE HAS THEM BOOKED UP TILL THE END OF THE YEAR. And filed with this agency in early April. WHAT A JOKE.

Try and keep all communication in writing with the investigators, no matter what side you are on. The investigator will edit your communication to fit their needs or wants. I don't know if that is legal, but they still do it. Good luck to you.

Per “HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) is United States legislation that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information.” An employer can not make such a request and by doing so is in violation. An employer is just that, not a counselor or a medical provider, to ask for documentation concerning a medical condition, allows the employer to deem themselves with the authority to make a judgment on your health condition.
It depends on the discriminatory reason you believe the action was taken against you. The EEOC enforces many different statutes of employment laws. We would need additional information to give you a proper assessment. Please visit our site eeoc.gov there you will find the laws we enforce along with other resources. Such as our Public Portal to submit am inquiry and schedule an appointment to speak with one of our representatives either via telephone or in person.
Like less than a year 300 days
This sounds more like a Department of Labor issue. The EEOC enforces civil rights employment laws.
This is happening in many nursing homes too. Actually worse than this. In our place its worse but there is no where to go with it. No lawyer will help because its a problem that's not supposed to exist and they refuse to recognize.
