Wonderful park for hiking and camping. Beautiful trees and decent trails. Restrooms are currently nailed shut. Portable toilet available. When the jets are practicing at OLF the noise is terrible.

Lots of Conch mushrooms. Didn't find any edibles but I didn't go off the path too much. Tons of downed and decaying trees along the way. Loop 2 is a little easier and more upkept than Loop 1. A nice flat walk nonetheless minus some downed trees to step over. Was the only person there on a Wednesday morning.

Great park! Only costs $15 a night, I believe. No reservations tho.
Different varieties bloom at different times but some are blooming all summer
If I remember a sign that I saw, maximum stay is 7 days in a 30 day period. Give them a call
