I was easily the youngest person there and felt really uncomfortable but there was what seemed like the manager? I didn’t catch her name but she was blonde and pretty young and seemed to be running things and helped me and made me feel so much better about the experience. If someone knows who that is, tell her she’s a wonderful human.

It was Thursday and there was no line. I have visited the food bank for the last two years. The staff were friendly and the store in generally good order. My main observation is of the quality and quantity food products available compared to one or two years ago. I am not sure whether changes in the nations farm bill or it is a cut back by suppliers, grocery stores, or individual benefactors and fund raising. Or maybe a lackluster approach by those running the facility to acquire higher quality and diverse goods. That being said these people do a good job.

Only very rarely do we have pet food and supplies. You can call 206 626 6462 and ask the staff if they have any on hand. Seattle Humane Society has set up pet food banks in the past. I don't know if they're doing it now. www.seattlehumane.org

They have plenty of baked goods( regular bread and sweets). The soft drinks are a maybe.

I haven't seen whole turkeys, they usually have items such as boneless chicken breasts, streaks, or other individual type meats. Haven't been there in a couple weeks.
