Looking for a unique experience that was authentic and doubled as a learning opportunity led us to Freewoods Farm. We are definitely going back! They have consumables for purchase like fresh produce and sugar cane syrup if you catch them during the right time of year. This is also an even space for weddings, family reunions, and so much more. They have live stock and a nature trail for the animal and outdoor enthusiasts in your party. The tour was enlightening and informative. I recommend it for families of all ages. The cost is very reasonable. Jon who works on the farm is really nice and patient when explaining the history of the farm and his family. Enrich your time at Myrtle Beach and explore a local farm with a long and storied history in SC. Ask them about the annual schedule for events!
