I love the privately & locally owned pet shops & let me tell you this one did not disappoint. I felt like an exited little kid. This place had beautiful displays of fish at every turn. Soo many cool things to check out here, great prices, friendly staff. This place was so cool I felt like I got away without paying admission. They've been around since the 70s not only fish (really cool ones) and huge selection but also small animals, super sweet birds, reptiles, spiders and more! I love having an option besides petco & petsmart, I would MUCH rather support these guys. I will definitely be back! Thanks Midway Tropical Fish!! ☆☆☆☆☆ Worth the drive 👍

I absolutely love this store! They are very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. I only buy my fish and plants here now as they can be trusted unlike other pet stores in the area. I have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended!!

They have a bit of everything for many domestic pets. Seems to be more focused on fish and birds. It's not a chain big box store. The place is a bit old and dated looking but the service is very solid and friendly.

Great selection from fish to reptilian creatures and birds. Then products for all the different types is wonderful as well. Employees are so helpful and ready to answer any questions you may have... came in to see what the fish selection was like as I just got a tank and am looking to fill it up just as soon as the water is right. They had everything I was looking for and then some. Looking forward to coming back and picking up all the new friends for my tank.

Last time I was there I believe they did.

yes
And all the times of me being there I have never seen hedgehogs there. Guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. A lot of other things like that.
Yes they do I bought our Male and female there..
They Just started carrying some colonies anywhere from $10-$30
They can order them if they don't have them in, market price for them varies...
They do have cockatiels. I dont remember the price off hand.
Best to call them to check stock.
Yes, and a selection of frozen foods as well.
They have live crickets and mealworms. Not sure about specific dried foods though. Call ahead to make sure they have the size and quantity you want.
Yes, we donated 2 ourselves just recently. Great place!
They have lots of birds. And will help you get whatever you need.
They have a couple cockatoo's i believe but their Amazon and Scarlet Macaw are strictly NOT for sale.. But there is an avian store in Bothell of Bothell-Everett Hwy - the name escapes me right this moment- but that breeds and rescues all kinds of small birds and many African grey parrots that might suit your fancy a bit better? I've been and really enjoy the store, and the owner is really sweet and breeds the cockatiel babies that are up for sale there.. Good luck, look up the avian store in bothell and it's going to be the first one in sure.. I want to say it has the word "wing" in it's facility name. Good luck. Lol
No
Yes they sure do
I'm giving away a red eared slider turtle. Male 5 years old a bit bigger then the ones they sell at the pet stores.
Yes they do sell hermit crabs.
Im not sure but they have alot of dog food
Yeah they have guniea pigs. They can order them for u if they dont have any on hand
When I was there they did not however the stock was low coming into the holidays.
Yes they take fish
They have allot of fish I believe I saw a cat fish but not sure. Call them
That would be something that you would find in Washington law
Yes, there heathy
It depends on size and species. None of the Koi sold are "babies" the survival rate is to to low, most are between 1 year to 5 years old, the older 3 and up is recommended for Koi fish kept outside they are around $7 and up depending on size and species, but I don't think their "outdoor" Koi section is open for the season yet, so you might want to call before you make the trip their.
They do have a wide range of freshwater lobsters, however supplies of them don't last long, so you need to be there when their shipments arrive because pretty much by the next day they are all sold
I was there a few weeks ago and they didn't have any then.
Usually, but call first before just bringing it. You'll have to bring it in before 6pm during the week, as well.
They get all kinds but if you ask they can try n find what you want their really good with that
Call the store
