Hello Marlene, we are renting a full rails hospital bed from Gould's for my paraplegic elderly mom. Medicare only covered a "semi-electric" style, which only has raised head ability. We paid the extra for full electric bed (in order to raise legs, + who wants to do a hand crank every time you are needing to raise and lower it during personal care?). We added a gel overlay for improved skin wound protection. Btw, I bought stretchy cotton knit fitted sheets for it online. Hope this helps! Gould's has very nice customer svc from sale through delivery, setup and training.

We do sell devises for tendinitis, but all of us at Gould’s recommend that you visit your doctor or have your doctor recommend a podiatrist to check out your feet before you purchase anything. Yes, Gould's does rent Wheelchairs for a short term (by the month). The payments will be set up for automatic withdrawal (or auto credit card charge), but the withdrawals are cancelled once the wheelchair is returned. Thanks for asking - Ken G
