Helped with my mothers death in 1995. Now my father in 2022, they completely useless, wasn’t worth the time to do intake. We are on our own. Give a call if you need anything they say. Um, people need a lot hospice they are going to call you once do intake then they want you to help…useful help. They want you down in the trenches with them. You’ve gotten lazy

Constant rescheduling, incomplete services, unreturned calls, blatantly lying and unprofessional behaviors from the provider(s). I do not recommend these people.

In retrospect, I feel deeply hurt that my mother was not put in-patient hospice at McKee sooner. The suffering that she experienced at home while I was struggling to take care of her - it hurts me very much to think about it. This is my first experience taking care of someone with terminal cancer and I had no idea, but they should have. They sure should have. It was taking 45 minutes to get my mom to the potty because she could not get herself off the chair due to the fact that she was literally dying. This should never have happened and I am haunted. There should have been much more in home care - once a week a nurse came in and twice a week a nurses aid came in to help with bathing, etc. Not enough for a dying patient. They should have known. Don't expect a first-time person going through this to know. That is bad on you. When the RN came she was caring and nice. The nurses aid was ok. That is really the only good thing I have to say about this place. If you have other options, explore them. We were let down and a dying loved one is the type of thing that you don't want to find yourself let down in.

The staff was very compassionate & helpful in caring for my wife explaining everything that was going on & why they were doing things for her comfort.
