Great place, you are right in nature between the animals. We had a visit from two deers right next to the mobile home. Everything is very well maintained and you can reach a lot on foot. Location is indescribable!!!

Very nice and cheap public campground . Only 20 $ night. Having pikniktable and fireplace. Warm shower was included. RV dump also.

Great group sites that are accommodating to a big party. I think it had 4 tents sites and huge fire pit with benches for everyone

We saw a couple of handicap sites that had a 120 volt plug but were all occupied. The park should be closed until spring now.
We pull a 34' 5th wheel and routinely camp at Apgar. Of course, many sites are not big enough, but there are enough that are. I believe you can go as far up Going to the Sun Road as Avalanche Lake Campground with a big rig, but beyond there vehicles are limited to 21' bumper to bumper.
Stayed at apgar several weeks ago and it was really crowded assuring try to get there before Thursday because the weekends are packed
