So I’ve never had a problem with an LA fitness until I have gone to this location . For a while I absolutely loved this place because my trainer was the only thing keeping me motivated , but when he left I kind of lost all motivation and started thinking real deep. Before my personal trainer that just recently left, my first personal trainer was Russ … not really gonna get too much into it but the first day of my training she asked me if I could push it to a later time, then the next time I had a training appointment with her she forgot to take me off the schedule and let me know so I came and thinking I had an appointment that day, when really I didn’t, after I switched trainers I saw her playing volleyball one day said hi to her and she ignored me . That first impression was honestly when I should’ve left, but my personal trainer after that (the one that just left) he was amazing so it don’t regret anything . During the months (year that I’ve been here) I have experienced rudeness, managers leaving out of the blue, unprofessionalism, and people ignoring me and not following up when I had a question or concern . I just recently got hurt, and I submitted medical records, and I even specifically called the location to request asking for the PTD, asked if I could talk to her but obviously she was busy and never got a call back, even before I submitted my medical records the PTD was working out one day on her lunch break and looked directly at me not saying anything knowing that I wanted to talk to her and everyone else at the front desk said she was busy when really all she could’ve done was gotten up, let me talk to her for a quick second and then she could continue her workout but instead I basically had no help . It sucks because I do wanna continue training here but I’m not going to if there are unprofessional people, as a former member of the LA fitness staff team I expect better from you guys because that’s not how LA fitness members roll… get it together !

I can only speak for the 5a-7:30a crowd but we all love LAF!!! Do you want a fully equipped gym full of friendly members, a place where you can go and not be judged and just get your workout on? There is a lot of equipment, something for everyone and members smile, say Hi!, and know your name! There is a wonderful social element there, no awkwardness! Serious! Maybe you're a stormtrooper workout person- go in, take no prisoners, get it done, get out. Maybe the social element isn't high on your list. No one will fault you for that but be ready to say Hi at least and give a smile! There is fairly decent gym etiquette (if you don't know what this is, please look it up) and overall the facility is clean, only as clean as the 'members' help keep it. It's everyone's responsibility! Get a guest pass and check it out, you might like it!!! Working out is fun, and helps in so many different ways. Explore a better you!

HAVE BEEN CALLING THIS GYM FOR TWO DAYS, EITHER STAY ON HOLD OF GET HUNG UP ON. I have never been a member of any la fitness and haven’t lived in Tacoma in almost two years. I was a member at the gym that owned that building prior, TWO YEARS AGO, yet LA FITNESS (Manager- Joselynn?) decided to start charging me again yesterday for a membership. Would great appreciate this corrected and a better system in place to not charge people who aren’t members .

Gym itself is great, awesome updates, has a pool and sauna and nice set up... I really love this gym, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. It used to be better, even 2 months ago it was better. I'm here every morning and there are sinks left for days uncleaned with hair and dirt from hands in them. There is a black beanie by the free weight section that has been there since Jan 1st. I asked at the front what was up and was told that housekeeping takes care of it.... when?.... clearly they don't lol Also people arent cleaning machines after use so make sure to scrub each down before use.

It's open as of 5pm today. Has pool, sauna, and basketball court. No racquetball or punching bags.
No
There is a pool, sauna, spa hot tub, basketball court, cycle room, aerobic room, tons of classes to take, and a complementary personal training workout upon enrollment.
Quite tall. Would guess 15'+
I know childcare is $10 per child per month.

I was told in about two weeks.....give or take a few days
Yes, It’s in the same plaza as Winco! It is open now!
No, but they are turning a old sports authority into an LA gym right across 72nd street that will open in Sept that will have those features (a pool at least).
It's included in your membership but kids are not allowed according to 6th ave.
They have a limit like 14 but they make exceptions with supervisor/guardian and depends on location and manager
