Italian ice is like sorbet. It's dairy-free and basically tiny ice crystals and fruit. Something that you just have to try to understand. Also, the soft serve at Ritas is OUTSTANDING!! We (Philly/South Jersey) call it "wooder ice" and the original flavors are cherry and lemon. Throw some of the soft serve in there for a nice Gellato! The people at Rita's are super nice and customer service is really at the cornerstone of their core values. I really love everyone who works at this location. We hit it every time we're in the general area; even if we just ate.
