Duly Health and Care in Joliet made it extremely difficult to see a specialist, ”strongly” requiring a referral when is not required. When I called today to let them know I was told by Blue Cross I didn’t need a referral, the woman on the phone, very rudely, stated “the insurance does not require one, but our office strongly insist on a referral. So therefore, you need a referral because it’s an HMO”. Well, I found an Orthopedic in Chicago that accepts Blue Cross Community Health Plan. Great reviews. Very friendly. No referral needed. Sad I have to travel so far because of incompetence service. Sadly, there are patients that can’t travel to Chicago, and are at the mercy of horrible treatment, they are the one’s I feel so bad for 😞

I was in literal pain my stomach felt it was going to burst they refused to help me due to them not accepting my insurance and even seeing I could barely breathe they didn't even call ems for transportation to the ER which I had to walk back to the hospital in complete pain and barely made to the main entrance as the hospital staff had to wheel me to the ER because how weak I was dizzy etc.. I definitely do NOT recommend if you any certain Medicaid insurance

No hours posted and no one to answer the phones. The phone offers to let you leave a message but that doesn’t work either. When I actually drove in I didn’t see anyone waiting there. A single receptionist (which wasn’t doing anything) and maybe 3 employees in back. I don’t want to ever go back again.
