Ordered some skewers for a party & my order was nowhere near ready when I got there. It was apparent that they had no idea that I paid for the order 2 days prior.

More than just a “hill,” this little park is a meandering and gentle climb with several viewpoints. Views of the Duwamish River and Mt. Rainier are interspersed with ancient, rocky outcroppings that offer glimpses into our geological past. To understand the cultural significance of this spot, listen to or read “The Epic of the Winds.”

This little park is a gem. Two sections. One is a plot of flat land below the hill with a short interpretive trail highlighting the fauna within this unique micro-climate. The hill itself is a geological point of interest in that it’s ancient bedrock. There are trails, benches, and firepits at various points. The views are outstanding. The location has cultural significance to the local indiginous people.

Cool little park with a big bouldery hill in the middle of an industrial area. . Park benches everywhere and tons of stairs to climb and trails to follow. Nice little hike to the top with great views of Mt. Ranier. There's a gun range next door, so your constantly hearing gunshots.
