Was flying to Chicago on Oct 15, 2021. Was treated differently because I was holding an international passport. The AA agent harassed me with harsh words and threatened to put me on the flight on the next day saying that I arrived late for Check-in. I was there on time but the queue was moving forward really slow and there was a couple who had issues with check-in and almost all the staff at the AA counter we stuck for almost 45 minutes. She made me $100 extra for the free luggage enlisted in the ticket.

I'm sitting here with a full plane of passengers wondering why we've been on the tarmac for over an hour after landing. The pilot doesnt know what's going on, equally frustrated. That's after it took them an hour to realize that my coworkers checked baggage was not coming out in Philly because they didnt turn the conveyor on! 🙂 Clearly there are systemic failings in this airline, my first time flying American after having no such issue with United, Delta, or Spirit. Good thing they're entrusted to fly giant metal crafts through the air over our heads!

No...there is no charge for POC's...and as a medical device the do not count toward the 1+1 carry on allowance
