When we first walked in we absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere. It's a mixture of industrial and old brick style building. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The service was timely, yet we were never rushed to leave. The food was excellent! Some of the best I've had out at a nice restaurant in a long time! Dress can be casual or formal. It's great for a date night or going out with a group of friends. Although I'm sure young kids are allowed, we did enjoy the lack of children squealing, crying or running around the restaurant. Best suited for adults. 5 plus stars!

Top Notch Service, Dining and atmosphere. Our waitress mentioned, if there is something you want, even if not on the menu, let me know. She took amazingly good care of us. She plucked a candle into a dessert for one our party celebrating a birthday. The entire experience, on a super busy OWU Homecoming weekend that also had high school students doing their Homecoming was fantastic. I wish my hometown which used to set the bar for service was as good as 1808 American Bistro. If you want a great meal, with attentive service and reasonable pricing in a lovely boisterous and inviting setting, I highly recommend. Hands down, one of the best dining experiences I've had post-covid pandemic.
