This newly renovated community pool is a great space for families to go to. It does fill up quickly, so getting their early before they open to get in line helps. Card and cash are both accepted for entrance into the pool. There is a kiddie pool, a diving board & a few basketball hoops for people to use in the pool.

Fircrest is a really cool little community just south of Tacoma proper. The little community center is the heart of the neighborhood. Many things happen here, but the biggest thing...probably what Fircrest is well-known for locally...is the outdoor swimming pool with excellent classes during the summer and a stellar swim team. If you are new to Tacoma, start to check for swim class sign up info in April/May...the first cycle fills quickly and you need to get into the rhythm of the 2 week sessions to get the greatest advantage from them. Easily the best swimming classes in the area and fun to attend in the summer.

We rented the pool for a team party. The staff was so helpful and kind! The pool was nice and warm for my little guy and they didn't expect us to do set up or clean up tables and chairs. The lifeguards did all of this!

The facilities are dated and staff could be more helpful. The pools are a great place to cool off on hot days. Changing rooms and bathrooms are a bit rough. The ball fields are great and for a Frisbee golf course your in luck!
