Sensei Brown runs the best all-around self-defense DoJo in the area, maybe the region. He is fantastic with kids and teaches true self defense to kids, teens and adults. The adult advanced classes of jujitsu and Muay thai boxing are fantastic. Plus, he’s a really nice man. Highly recommend.

This dojo offers multiple classes for all ages. My experience is with the children's class. As a martial artist and parent, I researched/audited four other dojos in the area before finding Brown Institute. Sensei Brown is one of the best instructors for children I've ever encountered, he is both professional and engaging. My children have asked me to bring them to class regularly for 5 years now! His philosophy mirrors my own of Bushido - gifting students with positive attitude, self confidence and effective self-defense.
