This place is great for doing park stuff. There's also a golf course. I guess that's what Google wants me to review because it doesn't know I don't golf. You'd think it was. Anyway, I'm sure golfing is fun if you're into that. And golfing next to something beautiful would probably better than not.

One of a kind huge awesome park! Beautiful views, sunsets and more. The golf course building has excellent food. Don't count that out or discredit. This will satisfy and fulfill your afternoon at the park. Exceeds expectations. Bathrooms clean and safe community. Appreciate respectful community and visitors.

Interesting place. Looks like an old industrial area with bridge remnants and an active train track passing through. The park area is green and spacious. The beach is far from the park area and you have to walk on an overpass to get to the water. The beach is all rocks! As you get closer to the water, the rocks have barnacles. We left with one of the kids getting a cut on the toe. Water socks recommended. There was a bunch locks placed on the overpass which was pretty cool. I’ll have to look up the story on that. Either way, seems like a great place for a scenic bar-b-que, not so much beach going.
Virginia Castle
One of the loveliest parks geared for all ages. Grassy areas to squat and sit with such a gorgeous backdrop. The children's playground has something for all aged kids. The swings offer two sensory swings for kids needing a gentler ride. A fun activity spot, makes me wish I was a kid again!! A short walk to the bridge and beach offers stunning views alongside a stellar golf course. A magical time for kids is had when an unexpected train Choo choos by. Bring your locks 🔒 to add to the bridge. Your kayak will get great use here!! Pack a lunch.. nearby bathrooms complete the package for an awesome day!!

Fireworks are banned in county parks
I've seen folks drive RC cars, fly kites, walk and run dogs, (and even cats), conduct group exercise sessions, run marathons, skateboard, ride bikes casually and race, sprint in the grass, and even get married at Chambers Bay. It's just a very chill, relaxing, accepting Park with a wonderful atmosphere, lots of space, and beautiful scenery.
The building is the closest unless you want to trek down the hill or all the way over to cirque
