Fantastic library! We have been many times especially with our kids. Their children's section is set up well with lots of stuff for the kiddos to enjoy. Haven't had a chance to check out any of their programs but I know they have many available.

Just left this library. The summer reading program for children is awful! Fort Walton Beach isn’t a big city but it isn’t a small town. They have a cap on how many kids can sign up. They are disorganized and provide inaccurate information. My poor son worked so hard. We were told at the beginning that signing up wasn’t required. Then at the end, he was told he wouldn’t receive any of the prizes because he wasn’t signed up. And a summer reading program that ends on July 7th!? There’s still a month of summer left. I’ve have been disenchanted with the summer reading program since I moved here. I will no longer be a patron of this library and do not recommend it to anyone.
