We love this place! We just took our guests there and were so excited to have them try the tomato wine.. but they were out.. that was a disappointment but the rest of the wine was fabulous! It's very quiet, quaint, and had a small menu to snack while you drink.. totally recommend checking this winery out.

Great experience and love the atmosphere. I had a wonderful time here enjoying the many tastes of wine they provided. I first got a taste of Wagon house at a wine festival in 2019 then I had another at the 2021 wine festival. I felt it was time to go to them personally. I'm live out of state so I made an effort to come. Best choice I made an if you come over to taste their delicious wine say hi to whiskey the cat.

I’ve been to a lot of wineries on both the East and the West coast and this has been the worst experience. When we first walked in we were told that they were understaffed and to bear with them. (A review from a few years ago says the same …Dear Eylin N, My name is Heather Brown and I am the owner and manager of Wagonhouse Winery ~ a family owned and run business in the heart of South Jersey. 1) You are a coward for posting such a review on Google behind an alias. 2) You and your two male friends arrived at 1:47. 3) I stated that we were extremely understaffed and asked for your patience and grace. All three of you stated that you were easy going and that you completely understood. 4) At 1:49 I seated you and your two male friends. 5) At 2:12 our team member, who knew she wasn’t trained but that we were so short on staff offered to come in, greeted you at your table. Yes definitely a delay, but your party had already said that everything was going to be ok. AND we were all under the impression that you were waiting for a 4th person, since the Groupon was for 4 people. 6) You didn’t receive bread because you didn’t order bread. 7) You selected your cheese and meats for the board. We don’t sell Cabot, so you didn’t see their imprint on the cheese. I would be happy to sell Cabot, as I have a great deal of respect for that small Vermont dairy farm that grew into a national distributor. Can you help me understand, what is wrong with Cabot? By the way, I don’t carry it because it’s too difficult for me to acquire. 8) We didn’t open the Burrata. Burrata, like mozzarella are stored in water or oil. Once opened, they can be quite a challenge to transport. AND seriously, was it such a stretch for you to open the safety seal. 9) The bread basket included a housemade pumpkin butter using REAL butter AND pumpkin, not to mention highend spices. Perhaps your palette is just not that sophisticated. 10) The charcuterie you selected was delivered to you as to keep each slice from sticking to the other. Had we had more staff, we may have made beautiful flowers and towers, BUT WE WERE NOT WELL STAFFED. 11) The wooden knives seem to work well for everyone else. You are the first to complain. 12) I challenge you to buy the same products for less than $20, as I cannot buy them for less than $20 at wholesale. 13) We do not offer dump buckets at tables and never have. If we did, however, COVID protocol would prohibit people from spitting into a bucket within close proximity to other people. 14) The total of $75 includes the things YOUR group ordered, tax AND gratuity which was left voluntarily. 15) By the way, I replaced the soap in the bathroom when I went to clean it at mid-day. Do you know many managers/owners who go to those lengths? 16) Questions for you: a. Did you ever voice a complaint onsite? b. Did you ever ask to speak with a manager/owner? c. If you were so upset, why did you spend over 2 hours with us? d. Did you mention to the staff that the bathroom was out of soap? 17) I have many more questions for you, so please feel free to reach out to me privately. 18) I don’t usually respond to people like, you. I am responding, however, to help ALL small businesses that are struggling now and dealing with people just like you. 19) STOP HATING or STAY HOME. Small businesses are struggling all over the world and people like you have the ability to make or break those small businesses.

I’ve been to a lot of wineries on both the East and the West coast and this has been the worst experience. When we first walked in we were told that they were understaffed and to bear with them. (A review from a few years ago says the same thing) it took about 5-10 minutes before we were seated and then we waited for about 20-30 mins before anyone came out to take our order. A friend had bought a Groupon so we were going to do the tasting. The lady who was our server stated that she was new and could not tell us anything about each wine and told us to look at the description on the menu to get an idea about each wine. (Another bad review from 3-4 years ago states something similar) We were starving and ordered a cheese platter. You have to choose the items in the platter - we chose prosciutto, sopressata, burrata, manchego, and pepper jack, and bread with pumpkin(I think but could have been apple or something else) butter. We basically got cabot cheese(you could see the imprints of the wrapper still), an unopened package of Belgioso, and the meats still had the wax paper from the package. They forgot the bread and we ended up getting crackers from the “pantry store” which is essentially some shelves at the end of the room. Additionally, they provided us with wooden knifes which are better for the environment but terrible for cutting cheese. I could have gone to the supermarket to make up this cheese plate and I would have spent less than $20. It cost $75. Yes, SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS. The amount of wine you get per tasting was maybe a sip at best, there was no rinse bucket and we were not given new glasses when we transitioned from red to white wines. The lady even poured wine into the glass I was using for water while it had water in it. I would not recommend. Save your time and money. Another disturbing thing is that they did not have soap in the bathroom. There wasn’t even an empty soap dispenser just no soap. They had hand sanitizer in the front so at least that was something but GROSS.

Nothing special. We are offering tastings, wine by the glass and wine by the bottle, as well as a light fare menu.

Do have bus tours to come and what would be the cost per person? If we decided on a meal what would the total cost be?? Ms. Morris

CHARLENE MORRIS | Nov 3, 2018

Ms Morris, We really aren't large enough for bus tours and we don't serve meals. How many people in your group? Thank you for thinking of us! Truly, Heather S. Brown Wagonhouse Winery
