Used to be a member of this church for about a year. Got completely plugged in and involved in all activities. Then, I started to visit a new connect group/Sunday school group and the leader of that group was ultra rude/unprofessional. Called me out in front of everyone. He set his bible down on the podium in the classroom, looked directly at me, and said, this is your last night coming to this group (it was on a Wednesday night and there were around 30 people in the room; ultra embarrassing). Completely uncalled for. I don't want to use any names or anything like that because of how badly it embarrassed me. They said, you don't belong in this group and you need to find another one. I simply sat down, did not do anything wrong. Again, I do not wish to reveal the identity of the leader because I wish to remain anonymous. All in all, I no longer attend and found a completely different church to go to with much friendlier/more normal people. Many years ago, my friend who was an elderly gentleman warned me about people like this young man who was the connect group leader. My friend said, there will be people out there in charge at church that will be jealous and they can't stand the fact that you are happy on purpose. They are wolves in sheeps clothing. This leader's behavior was so bad that on the following Sunday morning when I returned, people in that group apologized to me about his poor behavior. They told me that they spoke to him and let him know how ugly it was. I literally got up and walked out of the room the moment he said I wasn't welcome on that Wednesday night. Did not stay and cause any trouble. Figured it was better that I leave if I am not welcome. The connect group leader got his wish (no longer attend). This did happen at Marcus Pointe Pensacola campus (not a mistake review). Wish I was making it up but I am not. I did give myself a cool off period and waited a good amount of time to heal before posting this review. After leaving this church, I took about 6 months off from going to church and then slowly found other churches to go to. If you have something like this happen, it is good to take time off to recover.

I will give a better review if you fix your vending machine and give me my sour patch kids that I put $1.25 in the machine to pay for

I cannot believe that the Baptist church in my city is going to mix church and state by allowing Kaylee McEnany to speak on anything at this church that has anything to do with politics is a disgrace disgusting and I will never visit a Baptist church again
