We recently moved to a new subdivision and at this time are the only home occupied there. Our postal person sees this as an inconvenience and often doesn't bother to deliver our mail and now has started returning to sender. We have only gotten apathy from management.

The Post Office seems to redirect, or miss deliver a package. Seems the Carrier left my package at another address.. And no one has returned it. Neither the Post Office nor the Carrier knows what happened! I am getting so frustrated with the mail system. Now I have to call the company and tell them I never received my package due to Post Office inadequacies. And, the Carrier has not called me back as promised!!!

The people are nice. The system isn’t working. Waiting is the name of the game here. Comfortable shoes and more patience then you think you will need is the key. The key to getting the subpar service you hope will happen.

Get your drivers to actually read and double check addresses. Expected 2 deliveries today and were delivered to wrong address. I’ve had this happen with me with Amazon delivering to wrong address until I made kindergarten level delivery instructions so they wouldn’t deliver to wrong address. Do I need to make kindergarten or pre-K level delivery instructions for these drivers too?

The USPS does not give it a public phone number for their offices. Only the single national number. If you have a question if this office specifically, you'll need to travel to the office.
No
That's not uncommon. Email works best if it's not a time sensitive issue.
I don't know. You need to ask the post master.
They do them, but you do need an appointment.
Well they would say we're short handed or very busy because of the holiday buy actually they don't care because they are U.S. employees and they could care less. Of course I'm just guessing.
One dollar on usps.com. or free if you fill out the card at your local post office. Online transfer service is faster.
According to packing instructions 9A, yes. When dry ice is enclosed in a thick metal or other restricting type of container, a build–up of internal pressure could cause the container to rupture or explode. Dry ice is permitted to be sent in domestic mail when it is used as a refrigerant to cool the contents of a mailable hazardous or nonhazardous material, provided that all applicable requirements in 349 are met. https://pe.usps.com/text/pub52/pub52apxc_029.htm
Call the post office in the morning and let them know, it may be there ,but didnt get put on the mail truck..
There are many variables that determine the time. They collect from the Collection Point Boxes at 5:00-5:30.
There wasn't any loose animals, I caught this lady putting the packages under my boat one day! They are lazy. It's two of them in particular.
