I have always took my son and nephew and nieces here since 2007.they have changed up a few things each time i was visiting but the kids loved coming a being able ti interact with some of the things and learn the history as well.the best place to take your kids for something new and also to learn some history. Plus its free to go they also have a gift shop as well

This museum is above what I expected as a historical location. I had a lot of fun and an exciting journey to learn and discover sailors’ life and the establishment of the shipyard in the 1890s and contemporary world. There is no admission fee to enter, and its location is close to the ferry terminal. Everyone can check it out quickly when waiting for the ferry. I have been here two times and still feel great not only the museum’s contents but also the staff’s hospitality and friendliness.

How come not many people are visiting this museum ? We can go by ferry from Seattle. Amazing experience in Ferry. You can't carry your bag 🎒 inside. So,they provide locker facility. Museum has two floors. You can spend 2 hours there. So much information. Museum is FREE.😍 3D printer is amazing.👌💪 Many restaurants are nearby.

I am sure I saw the USS Mc Kean on display there in the 1980's. The people at the entrance to the Turner Joy said the Mc kean had never been there. The history says it was sold to Turkey in 1982 and was sunk in 1987. Was out there temporarily?

In short No, In the long version is that the USS Turner Joy is the the only ship it be a historical museum in Bremerton. The time between USS Mc Kean in service, decommission and then on to Turkey was to short to have been on display even temporarily.
