I called U-Haul to have two of my trucks outfitted with front mount hitch's. I placed and order and have reservation, with two reservation numbers! Why they cancel both of them with out telling me that they do not even install them I don't know. If that was the case I would have just bought them and put them on myself! This has to be the most unprofessional experience I have had with them , because they have my email phone number and address. But in the three weeks waiting for my appointment not one notice or any contact was made so I could make other arrangements! So if I could give a lower rating I would. As a business owner to keep my trucks on the road working and setting time for services to be done on my trucks is hard to do it is not much just asking for a call or email!

Not a good place to do business. One ee who would not give his name was rude and didn't want to do work close to closing time. Large white guy with short salt and pepper Hair. Terrible experience trying to get a job done.

HORRIBLE service! We rented a truck & a storage...EVERYTHING was unorganized from the moment we arrived. We made it back way before the scheduled return time, on to find the storage was already occupied. The clerk had no idea what to do, what was going on or how to fix the issue. It was STORMING by the way! So we were back & forth in the rain from the truck to the store, REPEATEDLY getting moved to TWO storage units because the size we wanted was now unavailable. We moved to FOUR different sets of units & didn't leave until after 7 p.m. (we made it back with the truck @ 12.17 p.m.) The gas was put back at half of a tank, the then other employee comes in with an attitude as if he didn't see us sitting in the rain, inside the truck FOR HOURS waiting to put our things in storage. Our card was overcharged, reimbursed, charged, reimbursed, then charged again. We FINALLY spoke with the GM, that day, he had an attitude. He was supposed to call us LAST MONDAY, still hasn't called us about the issues if that day, the fixed price of THEM giving us TWO units, or overcharging us! If the U-Haul on Central had the services we needed, we would have NEVER went here! I wouldn't recommend THIS U-haul if the services were FREE!

I recently had an appointment to get a trailer hitch installed on my car. I made the appointment weeks in advance for 10am. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that the install before me was running a little behind. While waiting I had a chance to view the installer at work and he seemed very disorganized. He was constantly looking for tools for the install and didn’t seem to care that he had others appointments waiting. He finally finished this install just before noon (2-hours late) and got started on mine. He did my install very fast, for which I was very happy. When I looked a my hitch I didn’t see the trailer wiring harness so I asked where it was, he told me that it INSDE my vehicle I the storage compartment because Honda didn’t provide a way to install any other way. I expressed my displeasure with this location and was told if I wanted it installed any other way “ that I should have had it factory installed”. I couldn’t believe that he was so rude! When I got home I searched utube for or my make model and year of my car as to how to install the wiring harness and….what I found was the proper install by UHaul. Maybe UHaul needs to train there installers in the proper techniques! How many other people have been misled by this location and had trailer wiring improperly installed by either an untrained or lazy installer?
