If at all possible, I don’t do ERs. I came in and informed them I had brain surgery and while I still have severe symptoms from a stroke and cerebella hemorrhage, I noticed that I started experiencing the same symptoms from I first started noticing the bleed and stroke, which is much worse. I just got home because it was taking so long to get seen, I’m going to lay down and hopefully I don’t die in my sleep, I just wanted to document what happened in case I do. They did a CT scan and just left me in the lobby for hours. Don’t go to this ER unless you call an ambulance, otherwise you’ll end up leaving before being seen.

They can't give medical advice they can't help you if you call somebody is sick over the phone they don't want to give you advice on what to do. So somebody is down you have no idea what to do they rather you let them lie there and die.

Went to this ER the other night and I wouldn’t send my dog to this ER and I don’t even have a dog!! I had a pinched nerve that caused my body to shut down, barely was able to sign my consent form because i was numb and weak over my entire body. I was just that weak, felt paralyzed . They sat me in that lobby waiting for about 4 hours and still wasn’t seen. So many people walked out. The lady at the front desk was very nonchalant and seem like she didn’t have a care in the world. When I told family and friends that i went here, they were surprised saying how their experiences were horrible. Someone threw up in the lobby and that throw up sat on the floor exposed to us for sooooo long, i couldn’t believe they didn’t have the common courtesy to cover it up or put a wet floor sign until housekeeping arrived. It sat so long, people started walking in it. I couldn’t believe how disgusting it was for the workers to not care to isolate the area. I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!!!!! And this was my first visit!!! Since I went, i have heard all bad stories about this ER. I don’t know what the mission or vision statement is at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center , but I tell you what, y’all not abiding by it at all!!!!!! Horrible experience!!!!!!!

My sister is in the hospital now and they are telling her nothing. She is in pain and has been there two days and is being tested but she doesn't know what for. I am out of state. My mother is there and is frustrated and doesn't know what to do. I don't know who to call.
