The people who deliver my mail give 5 Star service. The Post Office would probably get 3.5 stars. The line is always long. Thank God for the self service kiosk

They also don't need phone service as they never answer calls . In 65 years of life I have never seen postal service remotely close to this bad and this has been going on for years . We have the the worst delivery problems of all on out route . I could go on and on .

Yes, you have to go to the post office to do your passport.

Not unless you have asked for it to be held at the post office. Or catch the carrier before they leave the office for the route. The slip is only left if they've attempted delivery.
You can try the 800# for customer service and see if they can help you with forwarding or transfer you to the local office... if not maybe ask if sm1 can call you back
