I came in the library last week and this was my first time at this beautiful and amazing place. Looking from the outside, I can the modernity and timeliness of the building which marks the importance and necessity of knowledge and wisdom. I had the chance to go to each floor of the building and each floor was decorated with different and bright theme. Each floor will have restrooms and reading and studying areas. You DO NOT need to have library card to get inside as long as you do not borrow books. It is a friendly, relaxing and comfortable working environment I could say. The staff are so nice, friendly, and hospitable with all your demanding requests. Overall, I highly recommend this place to everyone

This is by far the best library I've ever been to they have several floors and a very large floor dedicated to computers and they have tables with places you can plug your own electronics in and charge your stuff or use your own computer. They also have a deal for people visiting to get a guest pass of some kind. I still don't know everything about this library but it is amazing and I plan on going back for a long time cuz I'm sure I could never discover everything in there. Plus the architecture itself is absolutely impressive and beautiful and it's own right

One of my favorite places in Seattle, great place to visit in a rainy day. The architecture of this place is incredible. They have a large book selection. The gift shop has nice things 👤 Service is great and everyone will be willing to help 🚻 There are bathrooms on almost every floor 🅿️ There is no parking, you will need to street park

Such a beauty! The gigantic glass walls look marvelous from both outside and inside and they really light up the interior of the building. It's always a pleasure to come to the central library. I got my library card here. The process is very straightforward, my card was ready in just a few minutes. The library has multiple service stations with friendly staff that is always ready to help. Love it!

Library parking is extremely expensive.
It's just the opposite... Campers are generally asked to move before opening and during open hours. So generally 8:30am to 6:30 to 8:30 pm depending on day. While property around the library can be some what controlled, sidewalks belong to the city and the library has no jurisdiction. Similar for downtown Central and 26 branches. There is a limit to size of encampment and much of the other is not blocked off due to vandalism and threats too staff and other patrons. It's complicated by legal rulings as well.
Libraries closed All Library locations remain closed to limit the spread of COVID-19. Select locations are now offering limited curbside pickup service, and 13 locations are accepting returns during limited hours. Find the latest updates on our Road to Reopening here. It has many silent places to study.
I believe king County libraries are still Closed
Maybe. ... You could ask at the library. They can NOT give you specifics about who, etc. You can ask. Google Maps Volunteers don't have access to the information.
Yes
Keeping it next to your seat would be fine.
Yes there is a black and white printer
I believe they do. It has a full public parking underneath. Easy access to elevators also.
No not yet
Closed today for MLK
Yes you can use pc's now as long as you have a library card.
Why wouldn't you be able to? It's a public space.
As of early November the library is still closed for inside visits (due to COVID) - but it is open limited hours for curbside pickup.
Literally Hundreds of spots to study as well as charge your devices throughout the library
No closed on holidays
All American libraries reserve a list of holidays, I'm not too sure about Columbus day. But I would think it's close.
No
If you look at the google map page you should see a phone icon which will lead you to a number to directly dial and ask your question. If you have a Library card you can go online and directly access your account and research to see if the library has the book in question. Also via interlibrary loan they may be able with a wait to locate the tomb you seek. To establish a library card you need an I.d. and recent mail to your address. Also any branch can reserve the book and have it delivered to there if they are closer to you. True Crime is the category
Waiting list varies considerably. Library staff can tell you. Or you can check online where you Adut are on the list.
I believe they can provide scanning service, but call them first before you go.
Definitely do NOT count on it.

Contact the library directly. The people who answer the questions here are volunteers ... For Google. I guess i could call the library, write down what they say, and then post it here. But I'm not going to do that.
Most specific number I found was "more than 2 years". Funding was approved in 1998 and it opened in 2004, so less than that
