Northgate Branch - The Seattle Public Library

Libraries are great places, the Northgate branch is great. It's pretty small and the parking lot can get full since it's shared with the community center. It's great for kids, there's a playground right there for before or after you pick out books.

Pretty good selection of books (quite a lot about Seattle/ PNW!), plenty of parking and seats. Close to shops and lightrail.

Wonderful library branch. I picked up my Seattle library card here, and the librarian told me about all the great resources they offer! My personal favorite is that they have lots of new titles and bestsellers you can check out for 2 weeks :) I went on a Friday around noon. It was busy, but there was plenty of open parking (for those wondering).

Although the selection of books is somewhat limited, the Northgate Branch Library has an ample number of computers and comfy rocking chairs. There are also 2 study rooms, printers and copiers (both black & white and color), and a separate room with movie screenings. There are two outdoor book-drops, one located beside each of the two entrances. King County Metro Rt. 41 stops directly in front of the branch (along with a few other routes). There's also a good-sized parking lot. Bonus, the branch is located in front of the Northgate Community Center, which has a sweet playground!
