A frustrating experience. There is no way to directly contact your worker. Left multiple voicemails, no call backs. No one seems to care about the families they are there to assist.we need medical care and are waiting for this disheveled office to return contact. Please work on getting your business organized better.

Workers won't RETURN CALLS OR VOICE MAILS or EMAILS, and they send your paperwork to Lord knows who, at different offices. I lived in California and they have over 20 million people living there and Cali will literally handle your case in 2 days, and if you have a kid ESPECIALLY. Delaware uses the excuse they have 30 days to do it. 30 days! And could care less if you have a child or not. If only the president knew, especially this being his home state. California gets people's cases done NOT DELAWARE, and it's been like this for yrs

Well what's the number??
The pathetic part is, that they could hire non-workers, to answer the phones, and take messages.
(302) 453.2852(Open/Recently Closed Cases) or (302) 253.7525 (New Case/Applying with Worker)
Go in and speak emergency services
They didn't provide the days you would have to call the number. (302) 650.1030
People do, do volunteer work, but it has been for court ordered. They do also have summer youth programs that is also volunteer. It is good to go in and ask or call the main line and ask if they are doing it right now.
For social services its Monday -Friday 8-4:30 pm. On the 4th Wednesday of the month they are open 8-7 pm. Wic is the one open late every Wednesday and thats 12-7 pm. Emergency Services is open 8-4:30 Monday-Friday as well.
