Beautiful kids friendly animal friendly slightly out of the way but right along the beaten path if you will kind of place to go where the sun just beams thru the trees so wonderfully while all the gorgeous trees give great shade for cooling off if need be! Nice place to escape to now and again! 😍❤️❤️

Beautiful little tucked away spot. Large playground for kids. Basketball court. Seasonal bathrooms. Space to walk through trees and, of course, rhododendrons. Just an overall soothing and tranquil feeling. Parking lot is fairly small so you may have issue on a weekend. Not weekdays though. Although, the park is more popular since Covid.

Very nice little park. Excellent playground and a micro trail that goes to the river. Great for the quick family getaway.

It's pretty small, and on nice days it can fill up (both the parking lot and the general park area) pretty quickly. If you can find a time when it's not busy, it's a relatively small, cozy park in a not-crazy neighborhood. Don't go barefoot though -- not everyone cleans up after their leashed doggos. o.O

There is a trail to a boat ramp you can fish at. Check the regs(strictly protected), I believe they change at the mouth of the river to the lake. Also, the area may be closed due to construction. Good luck!
Do what ever you want it a park just don't take them off leash near the play ground people hate that stuff. but there a great grass area for dog by the ricer so just take your dog their to place no one should bother you
