We used Bare Paws for the first time last week to look after our golden puppy for a couple of hours at home. From the beginning, communication was really easy and straightforward. Our puppy sitter/walker, Jahi, was so lovely and connected with our puppy Dante right away. He sent regular updates so we knew what Dante was doing and that he was happy and well. We ask for two new keys from each client. The first key stays with your sitter, the second is kept in a secure lock box or our office depending on proximity to your home. We never tag your keys with your name or address. We take the second key just in case the first key is misplaced, broken or your sitter has a personal emergency. We are still bale to access your pets.
Dog Walking: We serve all of Manhattan. In particular, the Upper East Side, Midtown, Harlem, Morning side, Upper West Side, and Lower East Side are some of our major hubs We do not service Queens, The Bronx Staten Island or Brooklyn for dog walking. Cat Sitting: We serve all of Manhattan. In particular the Upper East Side, Harlem, Upper West Side, Morning Side, and Lower East Side. We serve the following areas in Queens for cat sitting: Astoria, Long Island City. Brooklyn Wide coverage is available please contact us with your address to see if we cover you. We do not service Staten Island.

We provide the same walker Monday through Friday. We only use different walkers, if your walker is away on vacation or sick.
Your walker visits in your time range. We require a minimum of two hour time ranges for all adult dogs, and 1 hour time ranges for dogs under 9 months old. Your walker will use keys either given to them by you or by a doorman and take your pup out while you are away. After the walk is completed you will receive notes and GPS check-in and out.

A meet and greet, is where you get to meet a Bare Paw team member . For dog walking clients, you meet your walker and back up walker. And more importantly we meet your pet!
Cancel anytime for free before two hours of a dog walking service. Pet sitting services may have an additional fee for cancelling.
There is no minimum scheduled service. We do require a meet and greet for all clients.
Please give us at least two business hours. In the event that you have contacted us after business hours or just before the end of business hours please give us until the next day. We are open 7 days a week 10:00 am to 7:00pm.
