I went to Highlands in Shoreline to get my daughter fitted with some ice skates, and the clerk behind the counter said they were too busy to handle our fitting needs and to come back 3 hours later. So I went to Kent Valley Ice Center, and was immediately helped by Ian who got us fitted immediately, and sold us a total of $500 worth of quality equipment and services without any delay. Ian was also helpful in giving us his best advice on what types of cut to have done on her new figure skating skates. Ian has been skating since he was a kid. He is simply a master of the ice skating domain. If you are serious about getting your kids outfited with the best equipment all while getting the best advice, you must go see Ian. He is not only knowledgeable, but he is exceedingly friendly and very courteous. Thank you, Ian!!!!

My son decided to be a serious ice skater since he had lessons at Kent Valley Ice Center. Condition of the ice is always fantastic and well maintained. They smooth the surface of the ice after the each sessions. They have longer public session time than other ice skate center. Every single peoples in here are friendly and warm. This is not the closest one from our place, but still prefer to come here. They respect the human rights and the freedom of choice.

It was my first time here, heard great reviews but wanted to check it out for myself. The facility here is really nice. Good quality ice and skates. Pretty good pricing too compared to other rinks we have gone to in the past. That said, only 1 of the 5/6 employees we saw were wearing masks. Within 20 minutes of our arrival more than half of the people skating were not wearing masks. We felt unsafe and left. They did not check for vaccination status or negative tests despite having a sign stating they would do so. Disappointing experience overall.

Very nice facility for any age, kids or adults. We reserved private time for our group. This hour was great, kids were happy. It is cold place so dress accordingly. The warmer the socks, the better you will feel in ice skating boots. I always feel like they are cold and wet inside. So do my children. Regular entry fee is 20 dollars plus 5.50 for the boots rental. The increased visitors limits and lowered restrictions. You have to wear mask in the hallway, but no mask on the field. Good luck and have fun.
