Disappointing recent experience especially since previous visits have been enjoyable. Server could not remember order after it being repeated multiple times and seemed more interested in jumping on/around the bar and goofing around in the kitchen. Young employees did not seem concerned with providing good service. Restaurant was out of avocado for turkey avocado blt, which was conveyed, but the sandwich also came out with no bacon. Fries were undercooked and soggy. We won't be back and will advise others visitng the parks to do the same.

My husband and I stopped by Canal Port and were greeted with smiles. Melanie was our waitress and she gave us amazing service. ALL of our food was great, and the bar chips… **chef’s kiss**. We will be back on our next visit to Utica. Thank you! ❤️

Had such a great experience! Stopped in after a winter hike at Starved Rock looking for something other than "bar food" and boy, did we find it! Got to chat with the owner while sitting at the bar and he even let us take a taste of a new meatball he was working on (delicious!). Melanie was our bartender and server and she couldn't have been sweeter or more accommodating. My husband had the fried chicken which was enough to serve an army and amazing. I had the strip steak special with 3 giant shrimp and it was also fantastic. Also an impressive selection of bourbon behind the bar. They were short staffed tonight but never skipped a beat. We'll definitely be back!!

We waited over 45 min for our food and it was overcooked and dry (the fish was crisped until you couldn't even taste the fish and the bun was too crunchy). It did come out hot and the fries were good! The poor waitress was running around taking care of every table inside and out. Despite all of that work she was friendly and apologetic! I had the summer mule to drink, which was quite good!
