Parking is free! The lot is safe, big and easy to get to. Academy bus lines is another story their service needs to improve significantly!!

Yes but it's ridiculous. The best idea is to use the very back lot ND walk towards the event. Free parking and there is even a bus route there. I think that's for the commute though.
No test needed but FYI they don't accept any type of bags (even handbags or backpack) bigger than 5x8 or transparent ones (a little bigger). They will have you turn around and walk back to the parking to put you bags in the car. It is overkill but it is what it is!
