Worst experience of my life I was a alcoholic they don't wake you up for meals during detox it's more like a cult better off to get sober on your own terms

I was at this facility from 4/8/2022 to 4/15/2022 and without exaggeration I had the most awful experience ranging from the staff to the clients fist fighting inside the facility with severely understaffed personnel. Medication mix up was a huge issue the LVNs were giving the wrong medication to the wrong patients. I witnessed violence which I feared for my safety heavily. I had to advocate for my self everyday when I was told that the counselor Pam specifically asked me everyday if I want residential treatment. I packed a full suitcase intending to stay for at least 30 days however they kicked me stating there were not enough beds. However, on my day of discharge (I wasnt even detoxed properly I still had withdrawls)there were 4 patients being discharged right in front of me I witnessed several fist fights with no staff in place to help break up or diffuse the situation. I feared for my safety very much so. The police were not called despite me asking to call the police because I did not feel safe. I found a small metal bar outside and I had to grab it to put in my bad as I slept with protection because there were too many unknowns. Very dangerous. Severally understaffed and inefficient. We had no cooks for breakfast for the first 4 days we were provided cherrios only and that was our only choice, in addition the facility had asked patients that were going through withdraws and others that were in residential to cook, clean dishes, and clean the facility. We are here for treatment not to cook. In addition the staff treated me very poorly and with condescendence and we were also told if we dont like we can get the f**k out of here loud and clear. The LVNs were very poorly trained and severely understaffed, as well as treated with me complete neglect ranging from managers to techs to director to cafeteria staff. My treatment was severely affected by all staff and all medication requested was denied due to biased views and complete disregard for patient safety and patient medication needs. I am so disappointed by the way I was treated and was even told "if I dont like the process that I can get the f**k out and choose any door I like." I was told to leave without any prior notice and was not even provided assistance to go to another facility despite being told by counselors that they would heavily advocate for me to be in residential. Pam Barnes I believe was her name she completely let me down. I have filed complaint against this facility to the texas medical board and the 408 commission about my treatment neglect. Very rude staff and completely inadequate incompetent disregard for their claimed policies. This has severely affected my treatment. Please do better if you discharge someone cenikor promised to find me another bed however this is false I was provided with zero help to send me somewhere else. I I had 5 days of detox medicine and nothing else no counselor support, no one helped me find another rehab when they promised to do so. Even when I asked "what happens when I leave here and decide to use drugs and overdose" I was told that they wish that not to happen but they didnt care and even provided me with cash that I had brought with me prior to entering treatment. They gave me 120$ of my money which made it easier for me to go and buy drugs. I understand its my money but they should have given it to my dad when I was picked up. How do you kickout someone, hand them cash and say I hope you dont use. Pam the counselor did not care and ignored after she said she would fight tooth and nail and also guaranteed me " I will fight for you and I will find you a bed" while I was in lobby waiting to be picked up she walked right past me and did not even speak or look me in my eyes she completely ignored me right in front of my face. I will not give up and after I left 4/15/22 I am still sober 4/28/22 because I am strong and i will not this situation aftect my sobriety. I have attorneys working on this and i will never give up. Shame on these people they have no sympathy. Thank you to all the techs for what they do.

This place is the WORST. Went for residential treatment the first time experience was mediocre, then went a second time and was discharged a few two days. The women in the facility were extremely catty - the say I for there in FRONT management allowed the poor girl to be attacked by other patients for a food twenty- thirty minutes straight. She ended up AMAing about thirty minutes later. Then one or the patients asked me if I could somehow get her an Ativan by acting like I took the pill and bringing it to her. She stated that she had a head ache and I took one of my Inupropfins that I found in my change purse and told her that this should help. Then I was called by management accusing me of bringing her prescription medication even though I hadn’t. They drug tested me minutes later and the only thing I failed for was the type of benzos and sunbutex that they had been giving me since my Admission. This place is totally a joke. Clients are rude and will do anything in their power to score whatever medications they can get. The nurse showed me the “Ativan” I supposedly gave to the resident and it was cut up and so bad that they said it had to have been ibuprofen by the size it was cup in. They wouldn’t allow me to use the business phone until I was waiting in the lobby which was extremely unprofessional being that I was in Waco and he was in McKinney. TOTAL JOKE DO NOT GO HERE

You have to call and ask who the counselor is for that patient and they'll eventually pass the msg. If you ask/need any information you have to be on that person's list however.
Hi, Carol. We have adolescent outpatient services that serve ages 13-17.
They have an 800 number or he can just walk in, that's what I did
Yes, they do
When i went i did not have any money or insurance. And the men and women are separated most of the time but there are some groups that are together and meals. But if you are serious about recovery this should not be an issue. You cannot work on yourself if your focus is on someone else
Hello Crystal, you are able to smoke cigarettes and are permitted to bring packs of cigarettes into the facility.
