The staff at Texas State Optical are very professional and very accommodating, they helped me a great deal today. I don't need new glasses but Dr Butler got me all fixed up with eye drops to hrlp me see better.

Shirt and simple review is Dr. Butler saw me and was great. Due to the rest of staff being sub par and not as welcoming or efficient, 2 stars was given. Would think twice before scheduling next appointment here. Again actually going through exam was no issues, but hour wait time after appointment was supposed to be scheduled, billing me for the wrong product, and wanting to do their own tasks and not offer hospitality to guests the review is what it is

Hi Keith, thanks for reaching out! We do accept walk-in patients, but please be advised patients with an appointment do get priority.
Hi Paula, great question! Glasses are a very personal item, and just like one's personality, very unique. During your exam we will address those unique needs you have for your glasses and prescribe exactly the way you want, whether it be for specific tasks (driving, reading, sewing, golf, hunting, etc) or for general purposes (outdoor activities, office needs, shopping, etc). You will be well taken care of here!
