The helper, Cristina who has been comming to my house to help care fore is a wonderful help. She is punctual, she takes the initiative to do things on her own. She is always upbeat and can be depended upon. The organization is very pleasent to work with. I will misss these people when I no longer have them.

By far the best company to ever work for!!! I’m an current employee of 2+ years They work with your schedule and are there to help you in any way. Sydney the owner is incredible and so is office staff. They treat us employees like queens, because it’s us caregivers that provide best care to our patients!

Right at Home Round Rock provided great care for my mom for about 5 years, from the time she moved in with me through her final days in a nursing home. Over the years, I had a long list of ever-changing requests (i.e., I was high-maintenance), and the whole team was always so accommodating, caring, and helpful.

Questions & Answers

How does Right at Home train and monitor caregivers?

Right at Home | Sep 1, 2022
Right at Home | Sep 1, 2022

Since we are licensed by the State of Texas, caregivers must undergo a variety of testing and background checks. Once hired, Right at Home caregivers receive training on infection control, documenting and reporting, and several others. We require ongoing training courses and provide in-person continuing education for our staff. Our Care Coordinator performs supervisory visits in the field to check on the client and caregiver to ensure we are providing the best care possible. If there are any situations that require hands-on training, our Care Coordinator will perform this as well, at no charge.

How do you match your clients with caregivers?

Right at Home approaches client/caregiver matching in a several ways. The first step is to complete a free in-home assessment. During this visit, our Director of Client Care will speak with the client and any family members who are involved in the decision-making process. During this visit, we discuss the services and levels of assistance needed for each task. These tasks can range from companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and pet care, up to more hands-on tasks including bathing, toileting, and ambulation. We also gather medical background and any pertinent information that is critical for providing care. This gives us a great starting point to select a pool of potential caregivers based on skillset. We also realize there are other factors that make for successful client/caregiver matching. We then look at availability, personality types, location, and ensure if there are pets in the home that the caregiver will be comfortable with them as well. Although we take great effort and pride in selecting the right caregiver, if for any reason the caregiver is not a good match, simply contact our office and we will work to find a suitable replacement.

In addition, we do not have a cancellation policy. We understand that your needs can change quickly, so we strive to be as flexible as possible.
