Our initial contact with Casteel was for a routine maintenance call for a 21 year old heating system. We anticipated that it was nearing the end of its lifecycle--which turned out to be the case. We had them replace both the heating and ac systems which will be much more efficient than what we previously had. We also appreciated the use of technology to let us know who is coming to do the work. They sent a picture of the service person along with the assurance that the service person has been vetted before they arrive at my home.

Update on my review…October 26th, The Money Pit needed a commode repair, water leak outside faucet and a leaking garbage disposal replaced. FeDarren Hutcherson was early and we addressed my issues, he wrote up my quote and went to work. He did an excellent job and was friendly and a great personality. Casteel has been to my house for different issues almost every month since April. They are always helpful and friendly from the first phone call until the job is done. Update on my review...July 27th my AC went out. Jeremy arrived within an hour and got it running. Heating/Air is both original to house. 1997. Matt Holleman arrived the next day to help me with both systems. He did a perfect job. Didn't try to oversell and addressed every concern and question I had. Also set me up with financing. Install was set for scheduled on Aug. 2nd. Miles and Josh showed up early and started working. They did an excellent job. Left everything cleaner than when they arrived. Brandon Seal has done two plumbing projects and Matt McAnally did one AC project and everyone has always done a great job. From the minute they answered the phone. Everyone was very helpful, Brandon arrived early and checked out my issues. He gave me a quote and started fixing problems. Commode had to be replaced. Explained about a service contract, and I am signed up. Casteel will be my One Stop Shop for everything. I certainly recommend them. Prices and customer service is spot on!

Estimates for system replacement are offered at no cost, repair estimates are subject to an $89 dispatch and diagnostic fee.
The $89 dispatch fee covers getting a qualified technician to the home in a fully stocked truck to provide an accurate diagnosis and/or repair for your convenience.
The filter size and air flow arrow are printed on the outside edge of the air filter. Replacement is as simple as removing the old, dirty filter from the filter cabinet or return ductwork and replacing it with the new filter. The air flow arrow should be pointing at the furnace or air handler. Filters can be purchased at a local home improvement store such as Home Depot or ordered online. If you are unsure, feel free to give us a call!
Replacing a humidifier pad can be a bit more complicated, if you’re not comfortable doing it we suggest having it changed and inspected at your yearly heater service or you can call and have a tech walk you through the procedure. Pads can also be purchased at your local home improvement store or ordered online.
Programming a thermostat varies from model to model, usually the instructions are in the user’s manual or can be found online. Clients can also call Casteel and ask for step by step help. Using a smartphone to control a thermostat is only an option on a few models, it’s best to make sure the device is capable by consulting the user’s manual or researching online.

I have never used them for plumbing. If that end of the shop is anything like the HVAC folks, I would highly recommend them. I've used them to replace both heating and cooling units at my mother's home and recently had had them replace mine.
