Arrived on Friday. Stayed 1 day. Very disappointed. I expected much more for almost $500 a night. As staff was pleasant, there are a few other things that do need attention in my opinion. The good: 1. Very close to the downtown and parking was great. Local food and shops are very nice. Lake areas are almost quite nice for quiet walks and adventure. 2. Room was cozy and had great views. The bad: 1. After walking downtown, we could not get back into our room because the door jam was broken. Took many trys to get back in. 2. The community pool and hot: pool was very cloudy and hot tub had a layer of slimy stuff on the sides. Neither of which we used but had planned on using. 3. Work out room smelled of B.O. 4. Breakfast is promoted to begin at 7am. As early risers, we were there at 7am and not much was ready. Did not get any hot food until about 8am. Plastic plates and silverware. 5. " Fresh flowers " on the tables were about a week old and all wilted. 6. The condiments on the tables, salt, pepper, and a container I didnt want to open, were dirty and the hot sauce had mold around the lid. 7. The staff in the breakfast room did almost nothing the 45 minutes or so we were in there and must believe others do not speak Spanish as most alls they did was sit in the area and talk bad about guests. Also sitting in the way, making it hard to serve yourself. The gentleman cooking was the only one working. Food was ok as food goes. 8. The bathroom in our room had hair in and around the tub. And assuming it had not been cleaned properly, we did not want to attempt using the jacuzzi tub. Very disappointed all around for the almost $500 a night when others near them are a bit cheaper and are better prepared for higher paying guest. Certainly expected better for the money.

TLDR: Take the owners advice, make a reservation with big business and don't support small businesses (or at least this one). After reading some other reviews I'm glad to find out I'm not the only person who had to deal with a bad "owner" experience. Due to covid exposure and not wanting to spread a viral infection around to other guests or people, we could not make our reservation and I knew finding out the week of would require a conversation with customer support as I did read the policy that states 14+ day cancellations only. I did not expect nor really want to cancel my visit but to re-arrange it to work for another date. I figured it was worth a shot and if it's not possible so be it. I however was not ready for the phone call from a "owner" regarding my reservation. What started as just a question ended with a supposed owner getting angry and frustrated at me for made up reasons they decided to conjure up. This person obviously cared very little about customers and more about the money. This was validated when they took pretty much the entire conversation as me personally attacking them. On top of this I was told that I should support big businesses over small ones if I wanted to have coverage/insurance for a reservation...They literally told me not to support them even though they also stated how if they did this kind of cancellation for everything they would have to close and they had no availability to move or re-arrange my stay. Again I was not speaking to customer service because I thought I deserved a refund but more because I wanted to verify there was nothing they could do for me as it doesn't hurt to ask the question and I mainly would've wanted to move it over cancel it. This review is solely based on a return phone call I received from the owner and her handling of situation and how poorly of a job she did.

If you expect a quiet place to rest or not to see junk outside the balcony, this is NOT the place for you! In the middle of the night all I could hear was the loud humming of the jacuzzi above us. Also, there are balconies but there is junk on the main ground-floor behind the Post Office. I mentioned the above to the front desk when checking out, and Milah told me "I think this place is probably not for you!" She didn't ask about what junk I saw outside or interested in what I had to say. However, I agree with Milah and will not be back.

Wonderful stay. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Only issue was the internet connection which was disappointing because we travel with a roku to watch movies. They also have no boat and trailer parking so if you wanted to bring your boat to go boating on Geneva Lake, you'll have to stay elsewhere. But this was a great place for a romantic weekend. 5/5 stars!

Is the only difference betwee standard, deluxe and superior suites the size of the suites? Or are the bathrooms more spa-like as you go up in price? I know they all have jetted tubs but I want something as deluxe as possible.

I have only stayed in a king suite. Don't know what other suites look like. Ask reservations when you call
