I used Bayada Assistive Care for the first time recently. To say that I was apprehensive about having someone come into my home to care for my 85 year old mom while I wasn’t there would be an understatement. However, my fears were unfounded. Destiny, the Client Service Manager was informative and responsive. Ann, the Nurse who handled the assessment was kind, caring and very thorough. Stacey, the HHA, was warm and engaging towards my mom. She carried out all tasks as requested and then some! I wouldn’t hesitate to utilize Bayada Assistive Care again, truly a wonderful service!

I needed a Home Health Aide. My insurance company gave me a list with “In Network ” providers. I was calling providers on the list and it was torture. I would be put on hold and then eventually after waiting forever, they either had to call me back or said they couldn’t help me. When I called Bayada in Tinton Falls, NJ, I went through their automated process and I was able to speak with Kelly rather quickly. I was very unfamiliar with how to hire a home health aide. I was under the impression that my insurance company gave me all the accurate information I needed. When I spoke to Kelly, she actually took the time to explain how the process works and what the insurance would and would not cover. I then called my insurance company wanting to confirm the information they gave me. I called Bayada again to let them know what my insurance company had said to me and I spoke with Tod. He was so helpful and he also took the time to explain to me and help me understand what would and wouldn’t be covered by my insurance. It turns out that my insurance company actually provided me with misinformation and Kelly and Tod were correct. I then spoke with Victoria, which is the Director of the Tinton Falls, NJ office. She was so helpful. Victoria took the time to understand my situation and what I wanted to do. She asked me if I could give her a day to find out if her team could help me and that she would call me back. Honestly with my recent experiences with the insurance company and other home health providers who never followed through with another call, I hung up the phone thinking Victoria would be like everyone else. Well, Victoria called me the following day as she said she would and was able to help me with my situation. I am really grateful for Victoria and her team taking the time to listen to me, and help me. It showed me that they all really cared. Based on this experience, I would recommend Bayada in Tinton Falls, NJ.

It depends. We have one nurse in the morning that is very courteous of our schedule and is like family. The other nurse does not care about my grandmother and is there for maybe 15 mins and bills for the hour. Luck of the draw it seems.
