They are more expensive than auto zone but they always have the parts i need. Paid 28 dollars for PCV valve and was delievered to the store that day and installed 2 days later.

#6392 Store refused to honor Battery warranty. Battery began to fail after 3 years and was within warranty. However I had to move and tried to redeem my warranty in CO. When I bought the battery this store (VA) said I could redeem it the warranty anywhere in the country. However This store also refused to give the transaction number to the store in CO thus denying me my warranty. However the good employees in CO worked very hard to correct their wrong. The big issue is Advance Auto Parts customers records are not on a nation wide network. So the store in CO does not have access to costumer history in VA. Advance Auto's claim to honor warranty at any store in the country only works if the company works together across state lines and currently it does not. This is a fortune 500 Company. The fact that their claims are so grand but their network and employee training is so feeble should be a mark of shame on a otherwise good company name. To avoid any confusion the VA store number I am talking about is #6392.
