Boat Taxes Post: First, they messed up in their system by triple charging me, two from last year and another from this year. They deleted one of the duplicates but said I still had to pay the other two and told me that one was for this year and the other was from last year. All my stickers are up to-date for another month and I’m absolutely sure SCDNR will not issue sticker if the taxes. What a joke they can admit that they originally had an error by triple charging me but only way out of the double charge is to find a cash receipt from a year ago… I suggest you guys hold onto your receipts for multiple year. If I could give a zero star I would, auditor was simple rude

You can just show up at the tax office but the dmv you will want to have an appointment.
Not always. Depends on if you only need a decal and/or a plate. Normally you have to go to Newport to get the plate .
