They've simply decided fixing the elevator is too expensive. "You will have to live without". Has been down for 4 months.

I've had a generally good experience here. In addition to nice things that aren't specific to Gallery (like being near a lot of things - restaurants, breweries, shops, public transit, etc.), our apartment is in good working order, maintenance does a good job, the gyms and pools and other common areas are great, and the people who work here are nice. Stephanie does an amazing job planning social gatherings, and the others who work at the office like Mario are generally nice as well, though there is some turnover. There are definitely some cons, though I don't know how many of them you might find at other apartment complexes too. For example, there are car break-ins; Gallery has hired some security to drive around the garages but it's not enough. I wish there was a garage attendant instead since non-residents just piggy-back into the garage. There have been package thefts too, although Gallery uses Fetch so that's a little better. Another gripe I have is that some announcements come with very short notice, if any - for example, if hours will be different, sometimes they've only notified us a day in advance. Or when the elevator was broken, I felt like they could at least have updated residents on when it was expected to be fixed. At the very least, it seems like Gallery does listen and has tried to make improvements, though maybe not as quickly or effectively as some would like. The garbage containers used to be super loud and they improved that, though it took a while. Fetch is an improvement too (though experiences seem to vary.) So I'm generally happy and think it's at least as good as any other apartment.
