The pool itself is beautiful and a great place to swim (especially with the negative edge). The locker room floors can get VERY slick (we highly recommend a pair of rubber shower shoes) and the showers could use a bit of maintenance, but overall this is a terrific facility. Just wish they were open more hours, especially on the weekends when we're both off work!

there's an excellent water aerobics class Monday Wednesday and Friday at 8 a.m.
I asked this morning, and they do NOT specifically offer swim lessons customized for disabilities... but they might be able to accommodate them in a regular group session. The staff does, however, believe that the Monterey Sports Center offers individual lessons that could probably be better tailored to your needs.

Yes, you need a YMCA membership - I believe it's $57/month for one adult, or $101 for a family. They do offer a free three-day trial pass online.

Yes they have diving ..they have the pool sectioned off so the kids aren't in the way and they have a adult swim time .I'm not to sure when because I always go with my kids ..hope this was some help to you

I may not be completely accurate but I believe if you have a family member ship to the YMCA it is $35.00 a month.

Classes begin for babies of 6 moths age and older. Classes are twice a week or on Saturdays
I need to know now! If you guys are only doing classes today or if anyone can go swim! If your just doing classes that's stupid and I'm never going there again
