I have invested so much time and money trying to donate but after waiting 3 hours with an appointment, im told I will have to come back another day!!! Took me forever toget appointments, but eventually getting appointments only to be told the same thing 3 TIMES!!!!! As a nurse, I know the need for FFP and that was why I wanted to help! But, I spent a fortune not once but 3 times to be told to come back after being there 3 hours each time. So disappointing. I hope other corporations have more consolidation for clients.

Watched them tell multiple people that came in to make an appointment that they couldn’t because their system was down, but once the friend of a tech came in, she said she could put her in manually and she went straight to see the nurse, skipping the line of those with appointments before her. I wouldn’t come back. It’s not properly sanitized after each person and it’s unorganized. I actually couldn’t believe my eyes seeing how many people were turned away but the tech literally came over from where blood is drawn to talk to her friend or family member and get her pulled in/ put in the computer manually but for everyone else the system was down.

This place is really a hit or miss. Depends on the day/time you go or what tech you get to stick you. If you have an appointment for 9 you’re lucky if they see you by 9:30… today I was seen to check in before donating an HOUR after my time. Sometimes I’m in an out, not even an hour and the staff is awesome. Other times like my last visit, I was stuck in a weird spot where the guy went fishing for a vein so it caused high pressure, slowed machine down so I was donating for 2 plus hours. It bruised me and when I went for my next visit, I waited an hour to find out it prevented me from donating again after I drove half an hour. Once, the app messed up my payment and a nice girl called a manager to help and told me to wait. That manager proceeded to make me wait and then tell me twice I was holding up the line…. Okay, the girl told me to wait here? I waited another 20 minutes at the end for that same guy to assist me. If you have the option to go to a different place unlike me, I would honestly.

Don't know about tattoos. As a new donor I am receiving $1,100 over first 8 donations. Heard it is $1,200 now.
Absolutely, just make sure you have a seasoned phlebotomist sticking you
A recent tattoo may affect your eligibility to donate for a period of 4 months up to 12 months, depending on the state in which the tattoo was applied. You may be eligible to donate if your tattoos are older. The location of your tattoo may also affect your eligibility.
To get to give you some idea mine was 135/85
Yes, that is the point. You have to pass a physical to be able to donate and there are things that can get your deferred or denied. You need to be well hydrated when you go and eat properly the day of for the best results. People regularly get denied/deferred if their blood lacks nutrients, they are not hydrated enough to donate or have high blood pressure/heart rate.
No, lots of donors are from Philly at this location. If it's your first time, you'll need a current photo ID, proof of current address, and a document that shows your full social for the entry process.
No, it has to be the actual document and up-to-date as well. Also if the address is not the same on your ID as your current address, you have to have some sort of mail that has your address. Also, having a document that shows your full social security number is super helpful.
You can make around 700 in your first month
