We have family in the area & needed a place to stay. The rooms are clean, beds & pillows are comfy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok. There is a pancake machine, though I prefer waffles! I got the best rate online.

Planned on stopping around Charleston while traveling north to see family and friends. Saw this hotel was close to the interstate and under renovation, and it was PET FRIENDLY! We were greeted and made aware of when breakfast was going to be ready, and they delivered as i was one of the first there to get the next day going as I was re-fresh'd from a great nights sleep.

I stay in many hotels and I have to say this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The general manager is so wonderful too. She greeted us with a smile and cookies and cared to hear how we enjoyed our stay. Checkin with Rebecca was quick and problem free. Our room was very clean and the rooms was beautiful.

First the room was quiet and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice HDTV. Besides a working air conditioner (didn’t use it this trip as the weather wasn’t conducive) these are the musts for any place we stay. Our room was not ready upon arrival, however we did arrive at 2:30 for a 3:00 check-in. At 3:00 our room was ready so kudos to the staff. Like all the hotels we stayed during our trip they seemed to be a little short staffed. Covid and lack of people willing to work is evident everywhere. All the staff was friendly, even to a crabby visitor after a 7 hour drive. They are remodeling so it is a bit messy. I believe we got one of the newer rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and in the style of what I would call “stoic modern”. The normal chair you find in all rooms wasn’t there. I attributed it to the remodeling and additional furniture was’t available at this time. However if not, a comfortable chair would be a nice add in the corner of the room. The bathroom and shower were very nice as well. Once fully remodeled I believe this will be a very nice stop along the way of your travels. The area around the hotel has a number of fast food restaurants but I’m not certain about the number of “sit down” eateries. Would I stay here again. I think yes.
