I have been going to Kingfeed every week for two years. The woman at the check out counter is rude. Never says welcome, never says a word. I approach the counter with a good day greeting, never a response. In this day and age when every buck counts I would rather drive an extra mile or so to the Kingfeed in Canyon Lake. They are eager to help and they SMILE

Native grasses, like buffalograss, blue grama, sideoats grama, and curly mesquite grass are the toughest grasses here, but dwarf bermudagrasses are gaining popularity due to their low water use and thick turf.
Native forbs like horseherb are found growing wild under oak trees in the wild here, and we sell lots of it in our nursery for its thick coverage and tiny yellow flowers. Dwarf tall fescues are sometimes planted in shady areas here with good results. They do require more mowing than most turfgrasses.
We carry a full selection in the spring and fall, including Production reds, Americaunas, Barred Rocks, Sex Links, Buff Orpingtons, Australorps, Wyandottes, Bantams, Faverolles, Welsummers, Barnevelders, Rhode Island reds, and Crested.
