Today was my second visit here and unfortunately its my last. This clinic has a protocol to take your animal away from you for examination and tests which I don’t agree with due to the nature of that practice. How can you ever know what they’re doing in another room to your animal if you can’t see them? If you wouldn’t do that with your human infant, why do that with your animal? My dog being only 3 months old is now developing a massive fear of the vet because of that. The social cues I pick up from the front desk are just rather awkward (atleast for me because they stare at me like they don’t trust me, talk to me in a condescending tone and can’t wait for me to leave) The veterinarian herself was polite but again had a pushy approach about her when I refused the rabies vaccine until my pup was ACTUALLY 4 months old, and not “basically 4 months” in her words…..so when I refused she sighed and scoffed right in front of me, for what reason I’m not sure? I give it 3 stars because the place is clean, my receipts showed no surprise charges or add ins that I didn’t agree to first, and the vet tech I saw was friendly but that’s about it…..

If I could give zero stars, I would. We took our dog there last week for some shots and to get his nails clipped. They took him out of the room so we couldn’t see him and when they brought him back said he had an ear infection. They made me pay almost $250 for the medication. I cleaned his ears out every day like the box said and they were just a little dirty, I took him to a second vet and they said he did not have the ear infection, just earwax. I dropped him off for boarding the next day with his medicine and everything hoping for the best. When I came to pick him up they threatened to lock the door on us for coming after 5:00. They previously told us it was okay to pick him up late and they understood. They then charged us MORE because I “didn’t bring his meds” even though I did and the lady at the desk said she remembered me talking to her about them. They also gave him medication we didn’t consent to them giving him because he “wasn’t eating”, I called every day he was gone and they told us he was eating just fine. They also charged us for multiple things we didn’t ask for and a $95 boarding bill turned into almost $130. They take animals out of the room to run tests you don’t ask for and overcharge for them. They’re penny pinching and will do anything for a buck, I won’t be bringing him back and this has by far been the worst experience I’ve had at any vets office since getting my dog. Do not bring your dogs to this place if you care about your money
