Loved this church for 4 years before I discovered its hidden cult-likeness only once I started interacting with the pastors. The main pastor got this church passed down to him from his daddy. No one is allowed to talk to him unless they "pay the price." He insisted I wanted "intimacy" with him and when I didn't, he told me I had no social skills. Once you experience this kind of thing, you see the sickness underneath the beautiful veneer.
