June, I would strongly suggest you call the Skyland FD nonemergency telephone number. (828) 684-6421. Water is becoming a precious commodity we can no longer afford to waste. Thanks for keeping your eyes open. Peace out. Bear
Probably because they are waiting on another agency. They are a fire department not a towing service. Unless its on fire or someones hurt theres not much to do. So they block the affected part of the road and sit around until the appropriate agency finally gets there.
