I have at Hotel Tybee on 5 different vacations and would recommend the hotel to anyone. The balcony with the ocean view is absolutely fabulous. They offer yoga on the beach and have 2 seperate pools. All of the staff was very helpful, polite, and accommodating. There is also a $35 fee per day that includes parking, beach towels and beach chairs. Also, there is a microwave and mini fridge in the room.

Tonya was a delight to deal with at registration. Room was clean. Excellent view from the 3rd floor balcony. Was only suppose to stay 1 night..... Ended up staying 3 ^_^

This is the iconic place to stay on hotel tybee. But don't be trapped into spending more for Ocean views. There's a public parking lot and dunes before the beach ⛱️. So the view is only good on the 3rd floor. And even then it's first a parking lot. It is a great place. Short walk to the beach nice shop at the registration. Cute tiki bar at the pool but know limited tiki hours. Beautiful banquet room overlooking the ocean that is above the driveway into public parking lot so view is amazing. Would make a nice wedding or event place.

Both pools are open year-round and our Oasis Tiki Bar is open seasonally from March thru October (weather dependent). Hope to see you soon!
Yes they do. The hotel also sits right next to the beach. The hotel rooms are newly renovated and very reasonably priced. We were very happy with our stay and plan to go back soon.

Hotel Tybee offers two pools open year round (not heated), a poolside tiki bar March - October, bicycles, beach chairs, pool/beach towels, and high speed Wi-Fi. Guestrooms provide a king or queen/queen beds, oversized flat screens, private balconies, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board.
We do not have an onsite restaurant, but have 15 (or more) restaurants within a 2 block radius serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night items.
The Grandview Event Center is a two story structure located at Hotel Tybee. Both floors offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Tybee Island beach and pier. The Grandview opens exclusively for events. The hotel rents the facility out and provides all beverage service. Outside caterers provide meals.

Hotel Tybee does not offer breakfast. We do however have three restaurants close by that serve breakfast daily. The Breakfast Club, Sunrise and Wet Willies all serve quality breakfast.
We like to tell our guests that we are located "at", not "on" the beach. There is a thin, four car wide, public parking lot between the hotel and beach. This odd location for a parking lot goes back to the 1920's when cars first were able to drive out on to Tybee Island. www.hoteltybee.com
If you are coming on Friday and Saturday between March and the end of October you should absolutely book a week in advance. If you were coming Sunday through Thursday, almost literally you’re around… You can usually get a room the day of without a problem. There are exceptions, if we are holding a large conference, or a holiday falls mid-week. Hope this helps and then we can see you soon.
If your room is clean and inspected, we'll check you in immediately. A lot depends on the time of year, room reserved, and day of the week you are arriving. If a guest's room is not available, we will issue a parking permit and you are welcome to head to the beach, pools, shopping, dining, etc.

No, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, nor room service. Seasonally, we do have a very fun poolside tiki bar.
We do not include breakfast, nor do we have a restaurant on-site. However there are two great breakfast restaurants nearby, one directly across the street and another 1 to 2 blocks away.
UPDATE AS OF 7/12/20...85% of the hotel has been updated to Keurig coffee machines. The remaining 15% will be converted shortly.

No, they do not. They do have a breakfast buffet (for a charge), but I'm not sure if it is open every day or just the weekends. There is a popular breakfast restaurant a couple minutes away called The Breakfast Club. It gets crowded and there is often a wait.
They canceled a week for us not to long ago. They were extremely nice about it as well. I would definitively ask in advance though.

The room was sufficiently clean. I re -clean all the hotels I stay in, even before the pandemic. You never know, people are so nasty. Not wearing may, spreading germs, regular germs not to mention the covid DISEASE. The hotel did a good job.
The hotel does not have a restaurant on site, but there are more than a dozen places to eat just 2-3 minutes walk away.
